The Heritage Academy Patriots basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Millington Central Trojans to 50 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Noxubee County for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 29. Heritage Academy will meet a Tigers team coming off a 52-43 non-league win over Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 5-7.

The Trojans (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgeway (Memphis, TN). The Roadrunners enter the non-league contest with a 1-7 record.
