California High School Basketball - Mission Bay tops La Jolla
January 25, 2022: La Jolla, CA 92037 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mission Bay Buccaneers (San Diego, CA) and the host La Jolla Vikings (La Jolla, CA), saw Mission Bay's basketball squad knock off La Jolla by a count of 60-48.
With the victory, Mission Bay upgrades its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Coronado (Coronado, CA) to play the Islanders in a Western challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Islanders come into the challenge with a record of 4-19. Coronado lost 104-34 in their recent league challenge against St. Augustine (San Diego, CA)
Next up, the Vikings play the Lincoln Hornets (San Diego, CA) in a Eastern challenge, on Friday, January 28. La Jolla will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 56-38 non-league win over High Tech SD (San Diego, CA).
