Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Section Lions (Section, AL) and the host Sylvania Rams (Sylvania, AL), saw Section's basketball squad overcome Sylvania by a tally of 69-61.

With the victory, Section improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Sevier County (Sevierville, TN) to play the Smoky Bears in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 28. The Smoky Bears come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Sevier County won 63-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA)

Next up, the Rams play the Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 28. Sylvania will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 63-49 non-league win over Colbert Heights (Tuscumbia, AL).
