December 17, 2021: Mt. Ulla, NC 28125

Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC), 60-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Northwest Cabarrus upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Trojans host Carson (China Grove, NC) to play the Cougars in a 3A Conference 48 bout on Tuesday, January 4. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-6.

Next up, the Falcons play the Davie War Eagles (Mocksville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 21. West Rowan will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The War Eagles go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 65-61 non-league win over Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC).
