January 3, 2022: Magnolia, MS 39652 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Madison Central Jaguars (Madison, MS) and the host South Pike Eagles (Magnolia, MS), saw Madison Central's basketball squad wallop South Pike by a tally of 83-38.
With the victory, Madison Central improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Clinton (Clinton, MS) to play the Arrows in a 6A Region 4 challenge on Friday, January 7. The Arrows come into the challenge with a record of 6-5.
Next up, the Eagles play the McComb Tigers (McComb, MS) in a 4A Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 4. South Pike will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 57-54 non-league loss to Newton (Newton, MS).
