North Carolina High School Basketball - Christ the King edges Mountain Island Charter
February 8, 2022: Huntersville, NC 28078 The Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC), 53-50 in Tuesday's league test.
The Crusaders (10-11) will now prepare for their test against Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC). The Stallions go into the non-league test with a 14-9 record. In their last test, Greater Cabarrus Stallions got by Providence HomeSchool (Columbia, SC), 55-44, in a non-league test.
The Raptor now own a 9-13 record. They play next when they travel to Langtree Charter for a 1A/2A Conference 39 test on Thursday, February 10. Mountain Island Charter will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 64-54 league loss to Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Lions record now stands at 11-16.
