North Carolina High School Basketball - Mountain Island Charter overwhelms Carolina International School

December 17, 2019: Concord, NC 28027

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) and the host Carolina International School Comets (Concord, NC), saw Mountain Island Charter's basketball squad wallop Carolina International School by a tally of 77-55.

With the victory, Mountain Island Charter improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Raptor travel to Providence Day (Charlotte, NC) to play the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 20. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Providence Day won 50-44 in their recent non-league challenge against York Prep (Rock Hill, SC)

Next up, the Comets play the Bradford Preparatory School Bears (Charlotte, NC) in a PAC 7 1A challenge, on Friday, January 3. Carolina International School will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 80-25 league loss to Union Academy (Monroe, NC).
