California High School Basketball - Granada over Heritage
January 3, 2020: Livermore, CA 94550 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) and the visiting Heritage Patriots (Brentwood, CA), saw Granada's basketball squad overcome Heritage by a tally of 49-32.
With the victory, Granada improves its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Matadors host Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA) to confront the Wildcats in a East Bay challenge on Tuesday, January 7. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 11-2. Dougherty Valley won 68-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Second Baptist (Houston, TX)
Next up, the Patriots confront the San Leandro Pirates (San Leandro, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Heritage will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 62-46 non-league loss to Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ).
