January 4, 2020: Seminary, MS 39479 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Wayne County War Eagles (Waynesboro, MS) and the host Seminary Bulldogs (Seminary, MS), saw Wayne County's basketball squad overcome Seminary by a tally of 54-37.
With the victory, Wayne County improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The War Eagles host Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS) to confront the Panthers in a 5A Region 8 challenge on Friday, January 10. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Pascagoula won 67-64 in their recent league challenge against Heidelberg (Heidelberg, MS)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Tylertown Chiefs (Tylertown, MS) in a 3A Region 8 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Seminary will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record.
