Maryland High School Basketball - Our Lady of Good Counsel succumbs to St. John's
January 23, 2020: Olney, MD 20853 The St. John's Cadets topped the host Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons basketball team by a final score of 64-49 in Thursday's league game.
In their next game, the Cadets face the St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD) in a Washington Catholic game, on Friday, January 24. St. John's will attempt to move on its 17-3 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 4-14 record after their 79-72 league loss to Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD).
With the defeat, Our Lady of Good Counsel falls to 13-6 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD) to confront the Mustangs in a Washington Catholic challenge on Friday, January 24. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Bishop McNamara lost 73-44 in their recent league challenge against St. John's (Washington, DC)
