Colorado High School Basketball - Pueblo East topples Pueblo South
February 18, 2020: Pueblo, CO 81001 In Tuesday's league outing, the Pueblo East Eagles (Pueblo, CO) basketball squad beat the visiting Pueblo South Colts (Pueblo, CO), by a count of 65-51.
The Eagles now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pueblo West for a 4A South Central contest on Thursday, February 20. Pueblo East will battle a Cyclones team coming off a 79-68 league win over Pueblo Central (Pueblo, CO). The Cyclones record now stands at 16-6.
The Colts (3-18) will now prepare for their contest against Pueblo Centennial (Pueblo, CO). The Bulldogs enter the 4A South Central contest with a 2-20 record. In their last contest, Pueblo Centennial was defeated by Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO), 56-32, in a league contest.
