Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) and the host Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA), saw Model's basketball squad knock off Armuchee by a count of 63-43.

With the victory, Model upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Dade County (Trenton, GA) to play the Wolverines in a AA Region 7 challenge on Friday, January 10. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 4-11. Dade County won 78-72 in their recent league challenge against Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA)

Next up, the Indians play the Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA) in a AA Region 7 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Armuchee will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 57-46 league loss to Chattooga (Summerville, GA).
