The Olathe South Falcons basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Gardner-Edgerton Trailblazers to 37 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shawnee Mission West for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 18. Olathe South will battle a Vikings team coming off a 64-62 non-league loss to Shawnee Mission Northwest (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Vikings record now stands at 4-14.

The Trailblazers (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Olathe West (Olathe, KS). The Owls go into the Sunflower outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, Olathe West was beaten by Olathe Northwest (Olathe, KS), 43-30, in a league outing.
