The Center Hill Mustangs (Olive Branch, MS) basketball crushed the host Lafayette Commodores (Oxford, MS), 73-26 in Friday's league test.

The Mustangs (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Columbus (Columbus, MS). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Columbus walloped Grenada (Grenada, MS), 69-61, in a league test.

The Commodores now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they host Senatobia for a non-league test on Saturday, January 11. Lafayette will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 68-61 league loss to Independence (Independence, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 6-12.
