In Saturday's non-league outing, the New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN) basketball team nudged the visiting Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN), by a score of 54-53.

The Dragons now sport a 14-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lawrence North for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 14. New Palestine will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 61-59 non-league win over Warren Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 25-2.
