Louisiana High School Basketball - Lee can't get by Ville Platte
December 21, 2019: Ville Platte, LA 70586 Ville Platte Bulldogs (Ville Platte, LA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lee Patriots (Baton Rouge, LA), 70-63 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ville Platte upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Port Allen (Port Allen, LA) to play the Pelicans in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 21. The Pelicans go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Port Allen won 62-50 in their recent non-league bout against Eleanor McMain (New Orleans, LA)
Next up, the Patriots play the Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 23. Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 57-45 non-league loss to St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS).
