Maryland High School Basketball - St. Mary's Ryken topped by Bishop McNamara
January 9, 2020: Leonardtown, MD 20650 The Bishop McNamara Mustangs basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host St. Mary's Ryken Knights to 51 in the Mustangs league victory on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Annapolis Area Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, January 10. Bishop McNamara will battle a Eagles team coming off a 71-65 non-league loss to Pallotti (Laurel, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 1-6.
The Knights (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Paul VI (Fairfax, VA). The Panthers come into the Washington Catholic contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Paul VI prevailed over Gonzaga (Washington, DC), 62-54, in a league contest.
