January 25, 2019: Rosedale, MS 38769 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Coahoma County Red Panthers (Clarksdale, MS) and the host West Bolivar Eagles (Rosedale, MS), saw Coahoma County's basketball squad overcome West Bolivar by a tally of 56-48.
With the victory, Coahoma County improves its record to 20-2 on the campaign. The Red Panthers host South Delta (Rolling Fork, MS) to confront the Bulldogs in a 2A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 29. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 8-15. South Delta won 70-68 in their recent league challenge against Riverside (Avon, MS)
Next up, the Eagles confront the O'Bannon Greenwaves (Greenville, MS) in a 2A Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 29. West Bolivar will attempt to improve on its 14-8 season record. The Greenwaves come into the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 67-57 non-league loss to Simmons (Hollandale, MS).
