Washington High School Basketball - Davenport overwhelmed by St. George's
January 26, 2019: Davenport, WA 99122 The St. George's Dragons basketball team scored 86 points and restricted the host Davenport Gorillas to 45 in the Dragons league victory on Saturday.
The Dragons now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kettle Falls for a 2B Northeast contest on Friday, February 1. St. George's will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 56-40 league loss to Northwest Christian School (Colbert, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-10.
The Gorillas (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Chewelah (Chewelah, WA). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Chewelah triumphed over Wilbur-Creston (Creston, WA), 64-47, in a league contest.
