Illinois High School Lacrosse - Lake Zurich held off by Warren Township
May 19, 2021: Gurnee, IL 60031 Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL), 6-5 in a league battle.
The Blue Devils now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Loyola Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 20. Warren Township will clash with a Ramblers squad coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to New Trier (Winnetka, IL). The Ramblers record now stands at 7-1.
In their next game, the Bears clash with the Hoffman Estates Hawks (Hoffman Estates, IL) in a Mid Suburban battle, on Saturday, May 22. Lake Zurich will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Hawks come into the battle with a 4-8 record after their 14-4 league loss to Palatine (Palatine, IL).
