The Northfield Norseman nudged the host Tri-Central Trojans baseball team by a tally of 4-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Norseman now hold a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they host Rochester for a Three Rivers bout on Monday, May 13. Northfield will face a Zebras team coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Winamac (Winamac, IN). The Zebras record now stands at 11-8.

Next, the Trojans face the Oak Hill Golden Eagles (Converse, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 14. Tri-Central will attempt to advance on its 2-13 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the bout with a 7-11 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN).
