Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ), 6-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Desert Mountain upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wolves travel to Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ) to battle the Jaguars in a non-league test on Friday, February 22. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, Casteel falls to 0-1 on the season. The Colts travel to Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Thunder in a non-league test on Thursday, February 21. The Thunder come into the test with a record of 0-1. Desert Vista lost 9-6 in their recent non-league test against Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ)
