With the win, Anson upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Tigers host Albany (Albany, TX) to clash with the Lions in a 2A Region II District 10 bout on Friday, January 13. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Albany lost 60-24 in their recent league bout against Stamford (Stamford, TX)

Next up, the Pied Pipers clash with the Cisco Loboes (Cisco, TX) in a 2A Region II District 10 bout, on Friday, January 13. Hamlin will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Loboes go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 53-24 league win over Haskell (Haskell, TX).
