With the win, Madison Academy upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The host Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy (Saginaw, MI) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 12. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy won 57-29 in their recent non-league bout against Whittemore-Prescott (Whittemore, MI)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Beecher Buccaneers (Flint, MI) in a Genesee Area - Red bout, on Friday, January 13. Atherton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 35-27 league loss to Hamady (Flint, MI).
