Lakeville North Panthers (Lakeville, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Eastview Lightning (Apple Valley, MN), 67-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lakeville North upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Panthers host Eagan (Eagan, MN) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 12. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Eagan won 79-41 in their recent league bout against Burnsville (Burnsville, MN)

Next up, the Lightning play the Edina Hornets (Edina, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Eastview will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 60-54 league win over Waconia (Waconia, MN).
