In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Portland Christian Eagles (Louisville, KY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Fern Creek Tigers (Louisville, KY), by a count of 67-44.
The Eagles (12-0) will now prepare for their outing against Shawnee (Louisville, KY). The Golden Eagles go into the District 25 outing with a 11-3 record. In their last outing, Shawnee bounced Doss (Louisville, KY), 69-5, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Tigers play the Mercy Jaguars (Louisville, KY) in a District 24 challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. Fern Creek will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 72-35 non-league win over Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville, KY).
