The Juan Diego Academy basketball team (Mission, TX), was overwhelmed 67-11 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Lyford Bulldogs (Lyford, TX)
The Bulldogs now possess a 19-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Progreso for a 3A Region IV District 32 battle on Friday, January 13. Lyford will confront a Red Ants team coming off a 42-32 league win over IDEA Frontier College Prep (Brownsville, TX). The Red Ants record now stands at 15-9.
The (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Harvest Christian (Edinburg, TX). The come into the TAPPS 1A District 7 battle with a 27-7 record. In their last battle, Harvest Christian trounced Lifegate Christian (Seguin, TX), 74-22, in a non-league battle.
