The Menominee Indian Eagles basketball team scored 86 points and restricted the host Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks to 83 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shiocton for a Central Wisconsin - East contest on Friday, January 13. Menominee Indian will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 47-35 league loss to Iola-Scandinavia (Iola, WI). The Chiefs record now stands at 5-8.
The Warhawks (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Wittenberg-Birnamwood (Wittenberg, WI). The Chargers come into the Central Wisconsin - East contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Wittenberg-Birnamwood edged Amherst (Amherst, WI), 51-30, in a league contest.
