The Newman Catholic Knights basketball team (Mason City, IA), dropped 64-44 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Osage Green Devils (Osage, IA)

The Green Devils now possess a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Springs for a non-league battle on Friday, January 13. Osage will battle a Panthers team coming off a 40-33 non-league loss to Riceville (Riceville, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-5.

The Knights (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against North Butler (Greene, IA). The Bearcats come into the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, North Butler dropped by Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA), 39-27, in a league battle.
