The Pinkerton Astros basketball team (Derry, NH), dropped 71-62 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Portsmouth Clippers (Portsmouth, NH)
The Clippers now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Merrimack for a Division I battle on Friday, January 13. Portsmouth will confront a Tomahawks team coming off a 53-49 league loss to Spaulding (Rochester, NH). The Tomahawks record now stands at 3-3.
The Astros (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Nashua South (Nashua, NH). The Purple Panthers come into the Division I battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Nashua South beat Manchester Central (Manchester, NH), 50-29, in a league battle.
