The Union City Soaring Eagles basketball team (Union City, NJ), was overwhelmed 80-48 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Gill St. Bernard's Knights (Gladstone, NJ)
The Knights now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin for a Skyland - Delaware battle on Thursday, January 11. Gill St. Bernard's will battle a Warriors team coming off a 80-37 non-league loss to Rutgers Prep (Somerset, NJ). The Warriors record now stands at 4-7.
The Soaring Eagles (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against North Bergen (North Bergen, NJ). The Bruins come into the Hudson County - American battle with a 0-8 record.
