In Friday's non-league contest, the host York Catholic Fighting Irish basketball team scored a big 67-36 win over the Littlestown Thunderbolts.
The Fighting Irish (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Biglerville (Biglerville, PA). The Canners come into the York-Adams 3 contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Biglerville overwhelmed Hanover (Hanover, PA), 53-45, in a league match.
The Thunderbolts now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host York County Tech for a York-Adams 4 match on Monday, January 13. Littlestown will face a Spartans squad coming off a 87-84 non-league loss to Kennard-Dale (Fawn Grove, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-5.
