Georgia High School Basketball - Westover tipped by Monroe

January 10, 2025: Albany, GA 31701

The Monroe Golden Tornadoes got by the visiting Westover Patriots basketball squad by a final score of 48-43 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Golden Tornadoes clash with the Randolph-Clay Red Devils (Cuthbert, GA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 11. Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Red Devils come into the outing with a 9-4 record after their 53-21 league win over Stewart County (Lumpkin, GA).

The Patriots (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Dougherty (Albany, GA). The Trojans come into the AAA Region 1 outing with a 10-8 record. In their last outing, Dougherty held off Cairo (Cairo, GA), 69-36, in a non-league outing.
