The Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) basketball crushed the visiting St. Patrick's Irish (North Platte, NE), 64-38 in Friday's league bout.

The Plainsmen now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Sutherland for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11.

With the loss, St. Patrick's falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Irish travel to Cozad (Cozad, NE) to play the Haymakers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. The Haymakers go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Cozad lost 43-23 in their recent non-league bout against Ord (Ord, NE)
