The New Life Academy Bobcats basketball squad (Elizabeth City, NC), was nudged 20-16 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Suffolk Christian Academy Knights (Suffolk, VA)
With the victory, Suffolk Christian Academy advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Knights host Oaktree Academy (Virginia Beach, VA) to meet the Grizzlies in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 16. The Grizzlies enter the battle with a record of 1-1.
The Bobcats now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bethel Assembly Christian Academy for a battle on Monday, January 13. New Life Academy will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 18-5 non-league win over Pamlico Christian Academy (Grantsboro, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 6-3.
