Bloomington Purple Raiders (Bloomington, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL), 43-30 in a league bout.
With the win, Bloomington upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Purple Raiders travel to Normal Community (Normal, IL) to play the Ironmen in a bout on Monday, January 30. The Ironmen go into the bout with a record of 5-6.
Next up, the Ironmen play the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Normal Community will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record.
