The Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans ice hockey squad (Windsor, CT), was tipped 2-1 in Wednesday's league challenge with the host Kent School Lions (Kent, CT)

The Lions now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Lawrenceville School for a challenge on Saturday, January 14. Kent School will play a Big Red team coming off a 3-2 league win over Hill School (Pottstown, PA). The Big Red record now stands at 5-3.

The Pelicans (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hoosac (Hoosick, NY). The Owls come into the challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Hoosac was edged by Frederick Gunn (Washington, CT), 5-1, in a league challenge.
