The Horatio Lions basketball team (Horatio, AR), was toppled 43-35 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Acorn Tigers (Mena, AR)
The Tigers now possess a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Murfreesboro for a 2A Region 7 battle on Friday, January 12. Acorn will confront a Rattlers team coming off a 56-33 league win over Foreman (Foreman, AR). The Rattlers record now stands at 8-7.
The Lions (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Spring Hill (Hope, AR). The Bears come into the 2A Region 7 battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, Spring Hill was toppled by Dierks (Dierks, AR), 40-35, in a league battle.
