Nebraska High School Basketball - Skutt Catholic nudges Bellevue West

Skutt Catholic SkyHawks (Omaha, NE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bellevue West Thunderbirds (Bellevue, NE), 65-63 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Skutt Catholic upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The SkyHawks travel to Sioux City West (Sioux City, IA) to clash with the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 3-5.
Next up, the Thunderbirds clash with the Bellevue East Chieftains (Bellevue, NE) in a A District TBD bout, on Friday, January 12. Bellevue West will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Chieftains go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 64-22 league win over Fremont (Fremont, NE).
