Delaware High School Basketball - Sussex Central overwhelmed by Polytech

The Polytech Panthers basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Sussex Central Golden Knights to 17 in the Panthers league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Caesar Rodney for a Henlopen - Northern contest on Tuesday, January 16. Polytech will battle a Riders team coming off a 59-23 league loss to Smyrna (Smyrna, DE). The Riders record now stands at 2-6.
The Golden Knights (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Milford (Milford, DE). The Buccaneers come into the Henlopen - Northern contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Milford was routed by Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE), 52-13, in a league contest.
