Freshman Opponent (, ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Crosspointe Christian Academy Panthers (Indianapolis, IN), 34-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Freshman Opponent upgrades its record to 20-26 on the season. The travel to Redeemer Classical Christ (Kingsville, MD) to clash with the Royals in a bout on Friday, January 12. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Tabernacle Christian Eagles (Martinsville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13.
