The Carlsbad Lancers basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting San Diego Cavers to 50 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lancers now have a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Torrey Pines for a Coastal game on Wednesday, January 15. Carlsbad will confront a Falcons team coming off a 62-22 non-league win over Canyon Crest Academy (San Diego, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, San Diego falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Cavers host Academy of Our Lady of Peace (San Diego, CA) to confront the Pilots in a Eastern game on Tuesday, January 14. The Pilots go into the game with a record of 0-16. Academy of Our Lady of Peace lost 31-30 in their recent non-league game against Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA)
