With the victory, Coronado improves its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Dons travel to Tempe (Tempe, AZ) to confront the Buffaloes in a 4A Black Canyon challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Tempe won 60-58 in their recent league challenge against Cortez (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Spartans confront the Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Vista Grande will attempt to improve on its 0-14 season record. The Prospectors come into the challenge with a 2-16 record after their 71-25 league loss to Dysart (El Mirage, AZ).
