The Evansville Blue Devils basketball team (Evansville, WI), was nudged 56-49 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Monroe Cheesemakers (Monroe, WI)
The Cheesemakers now possess a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Baraboo for a Badger - West battle on Tuesday, January 17. Monroe will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 68-61 non-league loss to Fort Atkinson (Fort Atkinson, WI). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 5-8.
The Blue Devils (10-7) will now prepare for their battle against Edgerton (Edgerton, WI). The Crimson Tide come into the Rock Valley battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Edgerton edged Brodhead (Brodhead, WI), 46-38, in a league battle.
