In Thursday's non-league outing, the McKenzie Rebels (McKenzie, TN) basketball squad felled the host Gleason Bulldogs (Gleason, TN), by a margin of 53-41.
The Rebels (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against McEwen (McEwen, TN). The Warriors go into the 1A District 11 outing with a 14-2 record. In their last outing, McEwen thwarted Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central (Bruceton, TN), 61-24, in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Huntingdon for a non-league outing on Friday, January 13.
