Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles (Pittsburgh, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host South Allegheny Gladiators (McKeesport, PA), 53-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Keystone Oaks upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Golden Eagles host East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA) to play the Wild Cats in a WPIAL 3A 2 bout on Monday, January 16. The Wild Cats go into the bout with a record of 2-8. East Allegheny lost 63-10 in their recent league bout against Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA)

Next up, the Gladiators play the Clairton Bears (Clairton, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. South Allegheny will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 57-48 league loss to Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA).
