Utah High School Basketball - Rowland Hall fells American Leadership Academy

Rowland Hall Winged Lions (Salt Lake City, UT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting American Leadership Academy Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT), 68-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Rowland Hall upgrades its record to 4-9 on the season. The Winged Lions host American Prep WV (West Valley City, UT) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-5. American Prep WV won 79-32 in their recent league bout against Merit Preparatory Academy (Springville, UT)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Draper APA Eagles (Draper, UT) in a 2A Region 17 bout, on Wednesday, January 17. American Leadership Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 60-27 league win over Maeser Prep Academy (Lindon, UT).
