Texas High School Basketball - Adams can't hold off West Mesquite

The West Mesquite Wranglers basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the host Adams Cougars to 37 in the Wranglers league victory on Friday.
The Wranglers now sport a 8-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spruce for a 5A Region II District 12 contest on Wednesday, January 17. West Mesquite will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 42-30 league loss to North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Timberwolves record now stands at 6-7.
The Cougars (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Conrad (Dallas, TX). The Chargers come into the 5A Region II District 12 contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Conrad was nudged by Seagoville (Dallas, TX), 55-43, in a league contest.
