The Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) basketball crushed the host Harrisonburg Blue Streaks (Harrisonburg, VA), 50-26 in Friday's league test.
The Gobblers (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA). The Wildcats go into the Valley test with a 1-13 record.
The Blue Streaks now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to East Rockingham for a Valley test on Tuesday, January 16. Harrisonburg will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 68-36 non-league win over Madison County (Madison, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-7.
