Hillcrest Panthers (Dallas, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sunset Bison (Dallas, TX), 41-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Hillcrest upgrades its record to 17-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to Hockaday (Dallas, TX) to play the Daisies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Daisies go into the bout with a record of 4-4.

Next up, the Bison play the Molina Jaguars (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 11 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Sunset will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 47-25 league win over South Oak Cliff (Dallas, TX).
